Repaglinide is a oral Anti Diabetic drug . It belongs to a class of drugs called Meglitinide/Phenylalanine analogues. Repaglinide is used either alone or in combination with other oral hypoglycemic agents in Type 2 Diabetes.
Initial dose For whose HbA1c is 8% or higher : 1 or 2 mg orally with each Diet.
Initial dose For HbA1c is less than 8% : 0.5 mg orally with each Diet.
Recommended Dose Range: 0.5 to 4 mg orally with each Diet.
Maximum Daily Dose: 16 mg per day in 3 to 4 Doses.
