When Should I Take Vidagliptin Tablet?
Generic Name- Vildagliptin
Used For – Type 2 Diabetes Treatment
Vildagliptin is a oral Anti Diabetic drug . It belongs to a class of drugs called DPP-4 Inhibitors. It enhances the pancreatic islet cells responsiveness to glucose. Vildagliptin has shown that it is well tolerated and efficacious in improving glycemic control. Vildagliptin is used either alone or in combination with other oral hypoglycemic agents in Type 2 Diabetes.
You should take this medicine in the dose as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole and do not crush or break. This Tablet should be taken 100 mg/daily (50 mg twice daily (BID), better than once a day with or without food , but it is better to take it at a fixed time regularly.
Dosage- 50 Mg-100 Mg OD-BD Taken Just Before Diet.

If You Forget To Take A Dose Of Medicine ?
If you occasionally miss to take a dose of this medicine , Do not worry because you are not alone here. Suppose that If you forget a dose, take it as soon as possible. If you have only a short time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose. Do not take extra medication.
